Gutshaus Großwirschleben - the south side!
An extraordinary holiday flat is currently being created in the sunny rooms on the south side. All rooms have painted ceilings, the first two are already finished.

News from the Großwirschleben manor house
The manor house gets its own textile collection
An idea turned into a great new project: the ceiling paintings from the Großwirschleben manor house are being given their own textile collection.
Exactly what a village of 240 people in Saxony-Anhalt needs... :-)
The manor house has around a dozen painted ceilings and not all of them have yet been uncovered and restored. The motifs are also quite varied. The "Bauerngarten" pattern comes from the bedroom ceiling, the "Feldblume" pattern from the master bedroom ceiling. Other fabric designs come from the tiled floor of the entrance hall or the ceiling of the bay window. And who knows what else we might find?
You can look forward to a stately lifestyle with elegant shawls, classic Wilhelminian-style cushions or elegant bed linen.
My own shop for Past Perfect!
After six months of renovation work, my own shop opens on 31 January 2025!
On the premises you will find a showroom for table and bed linen and cushions and a separate fabric room for fabrics by the metre in a wide range of qualities.
New fabrics with as yet unknown motifs are available especially for the opening.
Lampshades covered with my own fabrics will be made there by me.
The regular opening hours will then be limited, as Past Perfect is still a sideline for me and I continue my building site work on the other days.
