Eutritzscher Strasse 3 in Leipzig
Ceiling paintings completed
The beautiful Wilhelminian style building at Eutritzscher Straße 3 is close to the center. We are currently working on the driveway there. First, we completed the stairwell and the ceilings of the driveway
It is a reconstruction of the historical paintings from around 1885. The design was discovered in the course of a color restoration study.

Driveway - Grotesque painting on the walls
We are currently in the final stages of restoring the murals in the driveway.
At the beginning of the work it was the case that the paintings, which had been painted over, were uncovered by unknown persons about ten years ago and more or less awkwardly began to be restored.
At the beginning we therefore had to remove thick layers of dirt and darkened varnish as well as failed overpainting.
One of the six wall surfaces was completely destroyed and had to be completely repainted.
News from the Grosswirschleben manor house
The bedroom
In January, the restoration and reconstruction of the ceiling painting in the future bedroom of the Großwirschleben manor house was successfully completed. With the exception of the future bathroom, the entire north side of the premises on the ground floor has been restored.
The Gutshaus Großwirschleben is located in the area where the Saale meets the A14 motorway near Bernburg. It is an outstanding piece of Gründerzeit villa architecture from the end of the 19th century. Of particular note are the numerous surviving or restorable ceiling paintings in nearly a dozen of the rooms.
I would like to thank the extremely dedicated builders and their commitment to preserving the building and its magnificent furnishings.
